matura thesis 2023

my matura thesis included an in-depth study of the physical phenomena of light refraction and light reflection, including caustics. i photographed the light refraction and reflection processes generated by various prisms. this includes birefringence, total internal reflections, cata- and diacaustics, kaleidoscope effects and color dispersion. i worked out the physical phenomena with calculations and graphs and explained how and what happens in my photographs.
